Blanco's famous Old Blanco County Courthouse, a Texas Historic Landmark, anchors the square at the heart of downtown. Let our Grand Old Lady be the elegant setting for your wedding or special event. Located only one hour from Austin and San Antonio in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, this is the perfect place for an event unlike any other.

 

Blanco and its downtown square are located on US Highway 281, easily accessible from Austin, San Antonio, and beyond. Hotels, bed and breakfasts, RV parks, and more accommodations are available in the city and out in the rolling hills of Blanco County.

 

The beautiful old courtroom is a popular site for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, seminars, meetings, movie shoots, and other special events in the Texas Hill Country. A fully-equipped kitchen is available for courthouse activities. The grounds are used for a variety of outdoor events. Outdoor electrical hookups are available for activities on the grounds. We can also assist with wedding planning, catering, photographers, and all your wedding needs!  Individuals and organizations

may reserve the courthouse and/or grounds with rental by day or by hour.

The old courtroom is a striking place to host your event. Rental rates for use of the courthouse include use of the kitchen, bathrooms, elevator, common hallways, and electricity.

Host your event outside on the grounds of the Old Blanco County Courthouse, in the middle of the Blanco Square. There's easy access via US Highway 281 and plenty of parking around the square.
