The Old Courthouse, one of Blanco's main tourist attractions, is open for touring with no admission charge, currently open from 10 AM to 2 PM Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday - and by appointment. The Visitor Center, provided as a community service by the Old Blanco County Courthouse Preservation Society, welcomes Blanco's visitors and residents with a wide range of information about local history, accommodations, restaurants, recreational opportunities and historical sites in the Hill Country. Information about the community, the region and the courthouse is available. The Historic Picture collection is enjoyed by all.

Visitors from all parts of the world marvel at the stylish architecture of the Courthouse and at the varied career of the old building during its 125 year history. Tours of the building produce appreciation for the restoration and for the effort of the small town of Blanco that makes possible the survival of this historic landmark.
