There is still
much work to be done. The Annual Fundraiser Gala,
Sparkles & Spurs, generates sufficient funds for the
annual payment on the note (now $55,000) remaining from
the original $250,000 indebtedness following Phase One
restoration ten years ago. Annual fundraiser galas and
other events will continue to provide funds to service
the note. Monthly Market Day on the grounds, office
leases, and event rentals of the Courtroom and grounds
provide funds for general operating and maintenance
expenses and for operation of the OBCCPS Visitor Center
that serves thousands of travelers annually. In addition to
the note and maintenance, your participation at the Gala
will help fund the continuing Phase II Landscaping,
refurbishing of the courtroom floors, and continued room
restorations. Please join us for a night of fun. Rain or
shine, we look forward to seeing you! If you are unable
to attend, please consider making a donation to assist in
preserving the Old Courthouse
