HOLIDAY MARKET on DECEMBER 12, 2009
MARKET RULES
LOCATION: Blanco Market Day is held on Old Blanco County Courthouse Square on Highway 281, 310 Main Street, Blanco, Texas.
TIME: Set up time will begin at 7:30 a.m. All spaces not filled by 9:00 a.m. will be assigned on a first come basis. Exhibitors are asked to stay until 4:00 p.m.
BOOTH FEE:
10 x 12 space $35 (if postmarked by the 10th of the month; after the 10th, $45.00).
No space will be reserved without receiving payment. If your display exceeds the allotted space, you will be charged for additional space. All seasonal reserved spaces must be paid for in advance. Returned check fee is $25.00.
SALES TAX: You must submit a new application with copy of your sales tax certificate each year. Sales taxes must be collected. The amount due for 2009 is: 8.25% (State tax 6.25%, Blanco County tax .5%, City of Blanco tax 1.5%). Operating without a sales tax permit is a crime punishable by a fine of up to $500 a day.
SET-UP: All exhibitors will move their vehicles immediately after unloading to designated parking areas. The parking areas will be located off the square one to two blocks away. Absolutely no vendors will be allowed to park on the square with the exception of loading and unloading. There will be no driving or parking on the grass. Loading and unloading must be done from the curb. ALL volunteer workers’ automobiles must be parked away from the courthouse square.
No parking or selling out of RVs, trailers, or vans; no items in bad taste or causing excessive litter; no open fires; no sale of live animals; no obscene language; no unduly loud music; no selling of alcohol.
· If you require electricity, please bring your own extension cords. There is an additional charge of $15.00 to connect electricity.
· NOISE RESTRICTION: No loud generators allowed. OBCCPS has sole discretion to determine acceptable noise level.
· CLEANUP: It is your responsibility to ensure that your area is left in a clean and orderly manner. Trash containers are available on site. Failure to leave your area clean may result in additional charges to you for clean up of your space.
· CONFIRMATION: If confirmation is needed, a self-addressed, stamped envelope must be enclosed with the application. For further information, call the Old Blanco County Courthouse at 830-833-2211 (Tuesday – Sat. 10 am to 3 pm) or email oldblanco@moment.net
· All vendors must sign the following release:
Release: I hereby release the OBCCPS and any and all of its members, directors, officers and employees from any responsibility for any injuries to me or my employees and for any loss or damage to personal property while participating in the OBCCPS MARKET DAYS I have read and I understand the market rules and agree to abide by all the rules during my participation in the OBCCPS Market Days. If I do not abide by the rules I understand I may be required to leave. I understand no refunds or rain dates can be given.

If you would like to pay in advance for the full season, a check must
